  11. johnsonnld Says:

if you complain about this song, you’re not feeling it. And that’s not just this song. blues is to feel, not to hear.

  12. musicman4495 Says:

To say that Eric Clapton is anything short of a virtuoso is blasphemy. The man is simply amazing. He knows how to move his crowd, and that’s what music is about.

  13. rut18 Says:

im a huge srv fan but anyone disrespecting clapton is plain wrong hes an absolute legend and he rips this.

  14. KNALLtrauma89 Says:

    Damn man.
I mean that Eric made the Blues open for the great publics, Halls never have been filled with so many people before… Just remember Cream.
And why do you react so fucking friendly?

    Eric formidable………….

  16. kinggreenbaum1966 Says:

Factum is that Clapton changed everything with the Mayall´s Beano album, Gibson Les Paul through a overdriven Marshall amplifier made a very unique sound and took the blues to the next level, the rest is history……. Ps. I dont believe in Best Guitarist, but different styles, and some like the mother and some the daughter !

  17. manbearsloth Says:

Clapton is not boring. He’s blues, not Texas blues. Comparing EC to SRV is like apples and oranges, man.

Hahaha… You speak about the blues yet you know nothing about it!!! Hahaha, bravo dumbass! Just for your information electric blues was invented by people like T-Bone Walker, Jimmy Reed, Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf and a few other in the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s. Eric Clapton certainly isn’t an inovator or a guy who started electric blues. He is a guy who took many things/licks from them and made his own uniuque blues/rock style.

  20. KNALLtrauma89 Says:

I know that Blues is made by those black guys. I only mean, he has started the “Electric Blues”

  21. ssg10 Says:

dude, eric got the blues… he got feeling right there… he’s only good playing the blues, not those pop craps.
SRV is my god, but can’t compare. Cos SRV is so intense and more twangy rough texas style…

  22. Bryant03051 Says:

I’d like to see you do what Clapton does, and then call it weak and boring…the fact of the matter is that BOTH are fantastic musicians with completely differing styles both powerful in thier own regards.

  23. grga888 Says:

Blues was not made by EC, it was made by the black people, but never mind, the fact remains, SRV is still the greatest white boy to play the blues and people like EC have nothing on him.
