Make good music.
A quick way is to add EVERYONE and wear close to nothing in your pictures.

Yea, I’d do what kaitlyn mentioned. In addition to promoting your “image”, you should get people to listen to your songs. That’s the main criteria for the charts. There are a few good companies that offer services, such as increasing your myspace plays. Invest some money. I’ve used for my band music profile. They have a free trial as well if I’m not wrong. But don’t forget your core music as well. No amount of publicity can help a bad song, unless you already have a record deal in the bag
