Dixon sued and won, and any one who knows the history of music can tell you Zep didn’t write When the Levee Breaks or In My Time of Dying, or Whole Lotta Love.

Allegations are not facts my friend.

led zeppelin’s great

Yeah most of the orginal writers couldn’t afford lawyers like Zep, alot of the times they forced those out of court settlements, only the big people like Willie Dixon could actually afford the legal costs, and it was more than a few songs, most of the first and second album were plagurised
April 20th, 2009 at 9:18 am
Those cases were settled out of court. Also, the few songs they were accused of plagiarism it was the lyrics in question not the music. I wouldn’t say outright, but there are a few questionable instances as far as lyrics are concerned.
Still a great band regardless, and despite the allegations, they were more talented than 99% of the musical world, past and present.

Anyone knows where can I find the tabs of this song? Plz reply me.:D
April 25th, 2009 at 7:56 pm
Their early stuff were outright plagurism, there were a lot of nasty lawsuits brought against Zep
April 28th, 2009 at 12:49 pm
Its called having real talent as opposed to being covered up with a mixing board and backing vocals
April 30th, 2009 at 2:37 pm
I wouldn’t say all of their music was an outright plagiarization, but yeah, I have seen the similarities.

Once again on the contrary, I never said that I grew up poor, you appear to be assuming. In fact I grew up in a middle class neighborhood on Long Island 25 Min. outside of NYC. I do understand one thing, I see why you got antsy about my comment on racism regarding the election. You are from the same neck of the woods where John McCain carpet bagged his way to prominence. By the way did Arizona finally pass the M.L.K. holiday? Being poor is not a requirement for consious awareness. Nice picture.
